Online fuelling System & Inventory Management for Retail Outlets
The company would be interested in having in place a firmware based system to manage the quantity being delivered through a smart dispenser (pump) with state of art security features at a given point of time. It shall have holistic software/ hardware well connected with web/cloud which can help achieve the desired optimization in the whole supply chain, inventory mange mentioned, accurate and tamperproof deliveries, manage accounts (payments, invoices, etc) and customer relationship management of the petrol pump with integration facility for host of peripherals in a secured and efficient manner for maximizing customer delight.
Portable Bio- toilets for Retail Outlets
We need a sustainable solution for ensuring cleanliness and minimum water use at our retail outlets (petrol pumps). The system should be rugged, presentable, cost effective and practically maintenance free while ensuring portability.
Intelligent 3D modeling of Projects
As the subject suggests, we would be interested in new user interactive software compatible with existing applications like AutoCAD so as to provide 3D views of the plant/ projects/ structure. Not only this, but the software should be able to capture the real time image/ data of site and should be able to suggest/ generate the design & dimensions of proposed structure and amount of material, manpower, special machinery and other resources required for construction of the same.
Retail Outlet Management System
We want to develop cloud server based software to manage our retail outlets (petrol pumps). The software should be user/ client interactive. The software can be integrated with all the machines, computers and display screens at all of IOCL’s retail outlet. The innovative solution may help in managing and maintaining the petrol pump hardware via integrated communication features with vendors. The secure software will capture data available from CCTV, purchases and customer interaction. The application will also help in creating and managing customer base through mobile platform/ SMS.
Oil Terminal Management System
IOCL has bulk storage points called terminals/ depots at various locations in the country. The bulk storage points consist of huge tanks in which the petroleum product is stored. These locations either receive petroleum products through pipelines or through rakes. The products are dispatched through tanker trucks from these locations. The terminals are managed through an already existing platform for receipt, storage and dispatch of products. We would like to develop a cloud based software integrating all bulk storage points of IOCL. The desired software may have features integrated with latest equipments, new technology available for Terminal automation. It should be compatible and interactive with existing terminal applications like, Tank Farm Management System (TFMS), CCTV, etc.
Remote monitoring of pipeline right of way and critical pipeline parameters
IOCL operates a large network of pipelines of around 12,000 km in the country. These pipelines are generally laid 1 to 1.5 meter below the ground surface. Along the pipeline route, limited rights for laying of the pipeline, over a strip of land varying in width from 18 to 30 meter, is secured by IOCL. Presently, Patrolling of these land strips is carried out manually to ensure safety and security of the pipeline from vandals, who not only damage the pipeline but occasionally steals oil by tapping into the line. Presently, monitoring of the pipeline is done from the equipments available at pumping stations on the pipelines by measuring operational parameters like pressure, flow, speed of the pump, pump vibration , energy consumption.
We would like to have a technology to monitor unauthorized entry around the pipelines to ensure security and safety of the pipeline as well as prevent theft. The technology should be capable of monitoring and communicating with the pipeline operator on a real time basis.
Automation of Auxiliary Processes at LPG Plants
Presently the LPG bottling plants consist of machines (carousals) used to fill LPG in LPG cylinders. IOC desires to have an automatic system for other processes in the LPG bottling plant namely Access Control, Material Receipt, Stores Management, CCTV Surveillance, etc needs to be switched over from manual system to automatic operations for better control, consistency and easier operations. The proposed application should be integrated with the existing software and processes of the plant for complete automation.
App based solution for meeting retail customer needs
IOC strives to service the customers coming at its retail outlets (petrol pumps) in the best possible way. To achieve the same we want to develop an integrated software for managing the loyalty programs, offers, pre-bookings, billing and payments in the best possible way. We would also like to assist the customer to navigate their way to our retail outlets through the proposed software application, which will also display the facilities available at a particular petrol pump. The software should also help us in managing our fleet customers (customers with an array of commercial vehicles, transporters etc).
Simplification/Automation of the administrative processes
We would like to develop a software which can help us reduce the time and effort spent in necessary documentation. The software can be a division level application (dashboard) to capture all available data across all business segments. The application should be able to generate report on sales, network expansion, progress of new projects, market scenario etc on a real time basis. This may include integration of all existing management report systems. The system should be able to generate automatic alert mails to concerned for updating at regular intervals.
Interactive Air Gauge at Retail Outlets
IOCL wants to develop an interactive Air facility at forecourt at its Retail Outlets (Petrol Pumps) having digital screen and thermal printer for providing initial and final pressure in all tyres along with recommended pressures against prescribed pressure by Vehicle Manufacturers for enhanced customer service.
Safe Unloading and Loading of LPG cylinders at Distributor’s Godown
Presently, filled Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders are unloaded from the trucks and stacked inside the godowns of the LPG distributor. The empty cylinders at the godown are loaded back into the same truck and sent to the Plants for re-filling. IOCL wants to develop a fully mechanized system confirming to all the safety standards for this purpose.
Electronic leak detector for detecting body and bung leak of LPG cylinders
Presently, each filled cylinder is checked for leak through an arrangement called water bath before it is dispatched for filling with LPG at the bottling plants. IOCL wants to develop a more efficient electronic equipment to scan the cylinders for any leakage.
Low Cost Pipeline material for transportation of ATF
IOC would like to develop an alternative low cost innovative solution for transportation of ATF especially over shorter distances. The solution should have a compatibility with desired pipeline designs, Instrumentation, equipment, existing intrinsic and external safety systems etc.
